Caroline Day Scruggs, AAI, CIC - President Mrs. Scruggs earned her B.A. degree from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1983, and she shortly thereafter she entered the insurance industry. Mrs. Scruggs obtained the AAI designation (Accredited Advisor in Insurance), and she received the CIC designation (Certified Insurance Counselor) in 1992. As President of DDM Insurance, Mrs. Scruggs is responsible for agency administration, including human resources, computer training and agency accounting. Mrs. Scruggs served as President of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Montgomery-Prince George's Counties in 1990. She served as chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents of Maryland's Legislative Committee and she currently serves as a member on the committee.
Stephen J. Deadrick, CLU, CIC - Vice President, Sales Mr. Deadrick began his insurance career in 1978 with the John Hancock Life Insurance Company. In 1982, Mr. Deadrick joined the Collins & Day Agency as a producer and in 1985, he was named Vice President of Sales. Mr. Deadrick is Vice President of Sales at DDM Insurance and he is the managing partner of the Commercial Lines and Financial Services Departments. He is a producer and writes business in all departments at DDM Insurance. In 1988, Mr. Deadrick obtained the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation, and in 1992, he received the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.
James Andrew Day, CIC - Vice President, Marketing Mr. Day entered the insurance industry shortly after graduating from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1986. Continuing the family tradition, Mr. Day joined his sister, Caroline, as a third generation insurance agent. Mr. Day served as Secretary/Treasurer at Collins & Day, Inc. until the merger with Marshall Insurance Services. As Vice President of Marketing with DDM Insurance, Mr. Day is the managing partner for the Personal Lines Department, and he is a producer for all three departments at DDM Insurance. Mr. Day received the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1996.
